what a great weekend! great rides and just a great relaxing time. rode aron’d rigid 29er sunday evening, boy that thing was rough! a few times my hands came off the handlebars, luckily never at a bad moment. new respect was found for those rigid singlespeeder aluminium frame crazies…. still had fun! then off to frank’s house for some steaks, baby back ribs, shrimp kabobs, dosx(amber and lager) and just a great relaxing time!
sunday morning marty had one hell of a crash! i only remember seeing him flipping in the air about 6 feet off the ground still holding on to his bike! if that isn’t devotion to a bike, then i don’t know what is!!!!
why do we do it? stubborn craziness comes to mind!

now and then when the moon and the stars are aligned just right, there comes a natural phenomenon which i call, true deliciousness! the folks over at mama’s pizzaria have out done themselves and are soon to be famous for this. it’s just a matter of time before the food network or travel channel comes down to do a piece on them. i give you…

now anyone who knows me, knows i am not a fan of thick pizza’s, BUT, this one is different, thick but thin crusts.. after a long ride, or just for the hell of it, it’s got my seal of approval!
i found a video on it on youtube.. hehe .. notice the steve the chef, is wearing a trucktoyz cap! YES!!

time neither applies nor affects her. the mourning of the past like a shadows end, nothing more than a still frame caught in time. restless perhaps, but unyielding to the threats of a younger more desperate girl. it’s with warm eyes and no apologies that she feeds you from her bounty. and eat one must until the gluttony is once again put to rest. the wrinkles of her face, like notches on a bed post, tell a tale of “could’ve, and what if’s”. the difference between her and her rivals is that of comfort, no longer living under the umbrella of impression, instead realizing the dreams which died with her love, will never see reality. make the most of time, allow the lust to for a moment fill your blood with a faint scent of fulfillment.
